Capri and Pompeii Day Trip

At the time indicated, we'll meet at Palazzo Massimo and from here, we'll head to Roma Termini Station to catch a train to Naples. Ready to start a day trip to two of the best spots in the region of Campania? Let's explore Pompeii and Capri

Firstly, we'll travel by bus to the archaeological site of Pompeii. Upon arrival, we'll explore this ancient Roman city, frozen in time forever since the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79.

We'll find out what life was like in Ancient Rome and Pompeii as we stroll around its streets. During the visit, we'll see places like the Forum, mosaics, the Vetti House and ancient taverns.

After visiting Pompeii for an hour and a half, we'll return to Naples for the second part of this unforgettable day in Campania. We'll arrive at the port of Naples to take a boat to Capri, one of the most special islands on the coast of Sorrento.

As we sail around, we'll admire the Faraglioni rock stacks, one of the most famous landscapes in the area. We'll disembark in Capri and you'll have 45 minutes of free time to enjoy lunch at your own expense or explore the lower part of the island.

Then, we'll meet back up and take a funicular to the top of Capri. Here, we'll embark on a guided tour, perfect to learn about the area's history. We'll also head into the Giardini di Augusto gardens, Friedrich Alfred Krupp's summer home.

After marvelling at the incredible views of the coast of Capri from its viewpoints, we'll return to the boat again and head back to Naples. We'll drop you off at the central train station so that you can catch a return train to Roma, after a 14-hour day trip.
