Routes & Stops

The Rome sightseeing buses make different stops at the most interesting points of the city. To learn more about the route, you can consult the following map:

This ticket will give you access to the City Sightseeing Rome buses, as well as to the Vatican&Rome Open Bus, the 2 main companies operating in the city.

How Does It Work?

If you choose the 1-day, 24, 48, or 72-hour ticket, the validity will depend on the time you validate the ticket. For example, if you start using the 48-hour ticket on a Monday at 1 pm, it would be valid until Wednesday at 1 pm.

During this time you can get on and off the different buses as many times as you like. For example, when you arrive at the Colosseum, you can get off to visit it and then take another bus to continue the journey to the Vatican.

Please note that the 1-day ticket is valid from the first to the last departure time of the bus on the date of your choice.

Schedule & Frequency

• April 1 to October 31: every day from 9 am to 7 pm (the final bus leaves at 7 pm)
• November 1 to March 31: every day from 9 am to 6 pm (the final bust leaves at 6 pm)

When booking a multi-day ticket, we advise you to check the timetable to ensure that the buses operate on all the days you intend to use them.

Itinerary Adjustments 

• As of February 25, 2025, and until further notice, the following stops are not guaranteed: stop 5 on the red line (Piazza Venezia), stop 6 on the yellow line (Piazza Venezia), stop 7 on the yellow line (Largo di Torre Argentina) and stop 8 on the yellow line (Piazza Navona).

Night Tour

If you want to embark on a scenic tour of Rome when the city's monuments are illuminated, during the booking process, you can choose the option of a night tour. In this case, we'll depart at 9:15 pm from the Piazza dei Cinquecento, and, for 1 hour, you'll admire the most iconic views of the "Eternal City."

You'll see the Santa Maria Maggiore and the majestic Colosseum, passing by the Circus Maximus with the impressive Palatine Hill as a backdrop. Plus, we'll drive by the luxurious Piazza Venezia and the Piazza de la República. Every corner in Rome will amaze you!
