Afternoon, the Colosseum
After visiting Vatican City, you’ll have time to eat at your own leisure and then meet your guide in the afternoon to continue the visit. The afternoon tour's itinerary is the same as our Colosseum Guided Tour.

St. Peter's Basilica
Access to St. Peter's Basilica from the Sistine Chapel is normally open, although we can't guarantee that you'll be able to enter the church from here due to masses and religious events that may be taking place.
Meeting points
Until the 13th of March 2024
Until the 13th of March 2024 (included), there are two meeting points, one for morning pickups and one for afternoon pickups:
- In the morning, the tour begins at Viale Giulio Cesare, 209-229, between the pharmacy and the Giulio Cesare cinema (100 metres from the A Ottaviano metro).
- In the afternoon, the tour begins at the Colosseum metro stop (Line B), at the lower exit, on Via dei Fori Imperiali, between the green kiosk and the fountain.
From the 14th of March 2024
From the 14th of March 2024 (included), the meeting point for the morning tour will be at Via Tunisi, 4, in front of the entrance to the Vatican Museums.
For the evening tour, the meeting point will still be at the Colosseum metro stop.
