Most stores in Rome are open Monday through Saturday, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Stores on major thoroughfares do not close at lunchtime, and some close later.
Most stores and shopping malls are also open on Sundays.
Most of the places to see in Rome don’t have regular hours because they’re outside. Those that do have set hours usually open early and close at sunset.
The main museums and art galleries in Rome are open from around 8:30 am until 7:30 pm.
